SOLAR, WIND & EV ACADEMY

Our mission is to connect industry experts with students to shape their thinking about renewable energy and provide a foundation for a career in the growing fields of Solar, Wind & EV.

This 12 week program is geared toward high school students who have an interest in the growing industry of Solar, Wind, & EV.

Relevant, Real World Learning

PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN ISU, McLEAN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS, BACC, MCLEAN COUNTY BUSINESSES, and BNSTEM

Classes are held at ISU and are open to high school students in McLean County (priority given to Jr/Sr High School age students).
Classes are taught by industry experts from local companies including Straight Up Solar, Rivian, Legacy Solar, RWE, CeMaST, and more.
Classes are held Saturday mornings 9am-12pm beginning January 21st, 2023 and ending April 29th, 2023. Classes will be held in the Renewable Energy Lab at ISU and on location.
Cost is $100 (scholarships are available)
