My Story
I have been in Chiropractic practice for 23 years and have been blessed to see thousands of patients from hours old to 97 years old. We specialize in kids and families and absolutely love to help people improve their health. I became a Chiropractor because  I was working for a Chiropractor while going to college and I noticed I no longer got headaches. I no longer got bronchitis so I knew my body was really healing and it was not due to my college aged lifestyle, that was for sure. Then the last straw was a baby came in that had was screaming and had been screaming since born two weeks prior. She had not slept for more than 30min at a time. After her first adjustment, she immediately stopped crying and slept for 17 hours. I knew I had to be part of this profession on a higher level so I registered for school that day.

My Advice

My Advice

I feel so blessed to do something I still love after 23 years. Do not settle for a job that you think will make you money. Do something you are passionate about. Something that you can't wait to get to each day. If you love what you do, the rest of it will be taken care of.

If you could go back to high school today, what would you do differently to prepare yourself for the workforce?
I wish I would have done more communication skills classes. I was so shy. I did not know how to talk to people. No matter what profession you are in, you need to know how to communicate well with others.

What do you know now that you think everyone in high school today should know?
I wish I would've been taught that outside of your comfort zone is where you grow. It is ok to be afraid or nervous, in fact that is where the fun and the growth are. Do something that scares you. The more uncomfortable you are, the more you are outside of your comfort zone you are, the more you grow, the bigger impact you can have on the world.
